Hey guys,
How is the new month looking so far? I have been having quite some hectic time with work and personal life with barely any break. But, I hope you guys are well-rested and having a great time finding ways to make your life and routine work during these testing times.
I am back again after quite a while with some great product reviews from a homegrown Indian brand called Vijaya Herbals. It's an organic brand with almost all-natural ingredients and no chemicals, animal testing and they are totally cruelty-free, something that I dearly endorse.
The company is owned by a medical professional, Dr. Disha Dinakar, and I personally know her so I can assure you are in good hands while you use these products. I am not only endorsing them since I know the owner but also because these are so so so good on your skin and hair.
I will break this review in 2 parts so that it is easier for you guys to have a look. In part 1 of the series, I will be reviewing their Hair Care, Lip, and a few other health and wellness range.
You can watch the detailed video review for each of the products listed. Here's a quick summary
Hair Care:
Duh Lush Shampoo and Conditioner:
I have thin, fine, and dry hair, this combo doesn't strip away moisture
Doesn't make my hair frizzy or lifeless after the application of conditioner as well
Mild fragrance
Affordable
Makes hair shiny, smooth and the split-ends visibly reduced.
Makes hair looks healthy and restored.
Doesn't provide great volume, but something I can overlook considering all the other positives.
Shampoo costs: Rs. 499 for 200 ml and Conditioner costs: Rs. 479 for 200 ml.
Sulfate, Paraben-free

Duh Luxure Hair Serum:
I am not really a serum person since I lack volume and the usual hair serums weigh my hair down, but this hair serum is very light and works great on any hair.
Makes hair shiny and frizz-free
Doesn't make your hair sticky
Great for everyday use
The fragrance is on the stronger side (FYI for people sensitive to fragrances) only while you rub the serum onto your hands but subsides while you apply on hair.
The product costs Rs. 599 for 15 ml
The packaging didn't come with ingredients, but the website claims pomegranate oil, Moroccan Argan oil, jojoba, pure peach extract, and other oils.

Waxing Powder:
Duh No-Hair Waxing Powder:
This is my new favorite waxing method, it's super easy, convenient and it's a bang for bucks.
The powder can be easily used for 2-3 waxing sessions. I used the paste for full legs, full arms, underarms, and bikini line and still have enough product for either a full waxing session or 2-3 applications of either full legs or full arms with underarms.
Smells a little like Veet, but it's not pungent. You can form a paste by mixing water/rose water, apply a thick layer and let it dry for about 20 mins on the body or 5 mins on the face and wipe it off with a damp cloth.
Bikini line or any parts that have thicker hair may be from a past razor session or so, have to be kept for longer, re-applied, or apply a thicker layer of paste to ensure it goes in the first try itself.
The entire process from start to end takes about 40 mins to 1 hour depending on whether you had to re-apply. It takes about 20 mins to get it off when you are doing the entire body wax.
It is very cost-efficient when compared to the amount spent in the salon, it costs Rs. 349 for 100gm pack.

Lip Care:
Duh Lip-lock Lip Balm:
This lip balm comes in various flavors like Chocolate, Strawberry, and Rose. I tried the Strawberry one.
The ingredients are pretty clean and don't contain Petroleum jelly. I am quite allergic to this and it tends to leave pimples around my lip line if the product has Petroleum jelly.
This balm has easily replaced the Laneige Lip Sleeping mask, considering this is safe for anyone to use and it is hydrating.
The balm has subtle to clear color making it suitable for anyone to use this.
Mild fragrance and provides juicy lips.
Costs Rs. 299 for 10g, which is worth the cost considering you need very little product to keep your lips hydrated.

Feet Care
Duh-Crysto Peppermint Foot Spa
This is my ultimate stress-buster when my feet feel tired, sore, swollen from a long day at work, or if I have ache from working out.
The foot crystals come in various flavors such as Peppermint, Tea Tree Oil, Orange, Lemon, Rose. I tried the Peppermint flavor.
The foot crystals are made of Epsom salt which is used to relieve the muscle tension and has essential oils, dried flower petals, etc.,
Take a tub of warm water and add 3-4 spoons (if you are dipping only feet), I like to add about 6-7 spoons in a tub of water and dip my entire legs until my knees and relax for about 15-20 mins with some soothing music and no-tech time.
You came out relaxed and with baby-like feet and end up having a great night's sleep.
The product costs Rs. 299 for 200gm and should last you about 6-10 uses depending on how many spoons you add per session.
You can shop the foot crystals here: Duh Crysto Peppermint Foot Crystals
They ship worldwide, so do check them out and stay tuned for Part 2 of the review (One of my ultimate favorite products to be revealed in part 2). Stay tuned and take care ❤️
